What is the Best Format for EBooks?
The answer to that question often depends on who you ask.  There are currently over 25 different EBook formats available.
We can deliver your EBook is different formats but we begin by creating your EBook in .Epub format.
We use .Epub as the standard because the EBook industry has adopted it as the most popular format.  This format was adopted
by the International DigitalPublishing Forum (IDPF). We can deliver your EBook in different formats but we always start with the standard which is .Epub.

If I have my book in .PDF, don't I already have an EBook?
Well, sort of.  PDF format is the most popular format for documents.  PDF was developed about 15 years ago as a standard for printing documents.  You can distribute a .PDF document as an EBook but there will be some limitations.  Most EBook readers allow the reader to change the font and font sizes to meet their preferences.  PDF documents use fixed font styling which minimized the control the reader has over their reading preferences.  Also, most people like a Table of Contents in their books with clickable links.  If your PDF document already has a table of contents then it will work.  Creating a Table of Contents from an existing PDF document requires using PDF specific software to alter the PDF document.  If you like your book in PDF format exactly as it is, then use it.  If you want to change the formatting and/or give the reader more control over their reading experience then you should consider having your manuscript placed in a .Epub format.

Do I need to be published before I create an EBook?
No.  That is one of the benefits of distributing your writing in the EBook format.  You can get your written word distributed in a popular format without the high cost of self-publishing or waiting to be accepted by a publisher.  Traditional brick and mortar publishers pay attention to your offering if you have already made sales in an EBook format.

Can I publish my own EBook?
